We Can Fix D.C. permanently by adding Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, like:

1. Eliminate the Fed

2. Term limits for all federal workers – elected, non-elected (including federal judges)

3. Balanced budget requirement with a minimum 50% going to military with U.S. debt-to-GDP ratio never to exceed 25% (excluding times of a Constitutionally declared war)

4. Congressional salaries to be used to pay down the IOU’s at SS and Medicare, then congressional salaries to be sun-set completely once the IOU’s are paid

5. Repeal 16th & 17th amendments

6. Eliminate federal pensions – to be replaced with 401ks

7. Federal election reform: ID proving citizenship, mail ballots must be notarized, single Election Day (no early/late voting), paper ballots only

8. Border security: militarize the border, place under joint jurisdiction of state border governors, US Senate & US Army

9. Privatize US postal service, eliminate the following: the EPA, Departments of Energy/Education, HUD, ATF (blue pencil all federal gun laws) FBI, DOJ, HHS, etc. Replace only the DOJ/FBI with agencies accountable to THE PEOPLE

10. Ban all presidential executive orders, including retroactively

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress
